Paint your Self Portrait! Or a portrait of your Pet!

This awesome class gives kids two options: paint an awesome portrait of themselves with their favorite colors OR bring in a photo of their pet to paint onto an awesome plate! Our artists will walk the kids through the techniques of painting a self portrait or pet portrait by using a pencil to create a basic sketch, adding color and details to bring the sketch to life, then doing any outlining and extra decorations. If they feel extra ambitious, kids can even paint themselves with their pet!

who: kids and teens, ages 8 and up

when: August 1st 1-3pm

how much: $25 per child (includes pottery, instruction, snack, and juice)

how does it work: Each class is two hours (kids must be dropped off and picked up promptly), and our artists will teach the class the different steps to create the design of the day. During the class, kids will also have snack time with a fun treat provided by us! Once items are finished, we will glaze and fire them, and they'll be ready for pick up 5 days later.
